Sea Freight Operator (East Attica)

Key Responsibilities

In this role, you will manage day-to-day sea freight operations seamlessly within an entirely digital, electronic file management environment:

  • Shipment Lifecycle: Execute efficient route planning, carrier bookings, and ocean freight consolidation workflows.
  • Documentation: Electronically handle all necessary sea freight paperwork, including Bills of Lading (B/Ls), customs coordination files, and tracking updates.
  • Commercial Operations: Manage carrier rate negotiations, client billing procedures, and precise file costing parameters.
  • Stakeholder Coordination: Maintain clear, proactive communication with shipping lines, customs brokers, and clients to guarantee optimal delivery paths.
What You Bring
  • Experience: 2–3+ years of hands-on experience directly within Freight Forwarding, Liner Shipping, or Maritime Logistics.
  • Industry Knowledge: Deep understanding of structural sea freight operations, Incoterms, and ocean documentation protocols.
  • Core Soft Skills: Active listening, solid interpersonal skills, strong teamwork ethics, along with sharp persuasion and negotiation attributes.
